Sleep

Sleep is my friend
When I am on my knees it takes me
When I am standing and fighting, it waits for me
It let’s me be
Until I’m ready
I love my sleep
I put it off so long
When all it wants
Is to keep me safe

Inside it’s waiting arms…..
